The IP-48DAC-16 is a single-size Industry Pack board featuring a total of 48 voltage outputs from D/A converters. Each output is buffered to provide ±10 mA, ensuring robust signal delivery. The D/A converters achieve accuracy to 1 LSB over the industrial temperature range when using the gain and offset correction register, though this drops to 4 LSB without correction. The module supports special function codes for global updates of all channels or by groups of eight channels at a time. Additionally, it includes standard ping-pong output registers for each channel or optional data RAM, allowing for waveform generation with minimal processor involvement. This flexibility makes the module suitable for applications requiring precise analog output control.
